Warren Casey was an American playwright, composer, and lyricist. He is best known for co-writing the book, music, and lyrics for the hit musical “Grease” with Jim Jacobs. Casey also wrote the book and lyrics for the musical “The First” and contributed to the score of the film “Zoot Suit.” He passed away in 1988 at the age of 53.
