    Thomas Malory was a 15th-century English writer, known for his work “Le Morte d’Arthur,” which is a compilation of Arthurian legends and stories. Not much is known about Malory’s life, but it is believed that he was a knight and a member of the gentry. He was imprisoned several times for various crimes, including theft and extortion. Despite his troubled life, Malory’s work has had a lasting impact on English literature and has inspired countless adaptations and retellings of the Arthurian legend.
