    Rudy Wurlitzer is an American novelist and screenwriter known for his works such as “Nog,” “Flats,” and “Quake.” He has also written screenplays for films such as “Two-Lane Blacktop” and “Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.” Wurlitzer was born in Ohio in 1937 and studied at the University of Chicago before moving to New York City to pursue a career in writing. He has been praised for his unique style and exploration of the American West in his works.
