    Bio:

    Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, and travel writer. He is best known for his novels Treasure Island, Kidnapped, and Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Stevenson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and studied law before pursuing a career in writing. He traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States, and his experiences influenced his writing. Stevenson died in Samoa at the age of 44.
