Waller was a professor of management and economics at the University of Northern Iowa before becoming a full-time writer. He wrote several books, including “Slow Waltz in Cedar Bend” and “Puerto Vallarta Squeeze.” Waller’s work often explored themes of love, loss, and the beauty of the natural world.
