    Georges Arnaud was a French writer, born on July 26, 1917, in Montpellier, France. He is best known for his novel “The Wages of Fear,” which was adapted into a film of the same name by director Henri-Georges Clouzot. Arnaud also wrote several other novels, including “The Ice Cage” and “The Night of the Wolf.” He died on March 4, 1987, in Saint-Gély-du-Fesc, France.
