Bio:

Dick King-Smith was a British author best known for his children’s books, including “The Sheep-Pig” (which was adapted into the film “Babe”), “The Water Horse,” and “The Fox Busters.” He was born in Gloucestershire, England in 1922 and worked as a farmer for many years before becoming a full-time writer in his 50s. King-Smith passed away in 2011 at the age of 88.
