    Bio:

    Dale Wasserman (1914-2008) was an American playwright and screenwriter. He is best known for his adaptation of Ken Kesey’s novel “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” for the stage, which won five Tony Awards including Best Play. Wasserman also wrote the book for the musical “Man of La Mancha,” which won five Tony Awards including Best Musical. He wrote numerous other plays and screenplays throughout his career.
