    Bio:

    Willis Goldbeck was an American film producer, director, and screenwriter. He was best known for producing the classic films It’s a Wonderful Life (1946) and The Bishop’s Wife (1947). Goldbeck was also a prolific writer, having written over 30 screenplays and directed over 20 films. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture for It’s a Wonderful Life. Goldbeck died in 1971 at the age of 79.
