His films, which are mostly adaptations of novels or short stories, cover a wide range of genres, including war, horror, comedy, and science fiction. Kubrick’s films are known for their technical innovation, unique visual style, and meticulous attention to detail. He won numerous awards, including four Academy Awards, and was nominated for 13 more. Kubrick died in 1999 at the age of 70.
