Shane Black is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and actor. He is best known for writing and directing the action-comedy films Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) and Iron Man 3 (2013). He also wrote the Lethal Weapon series, The Last Boy Scout (1991), and The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996). Black has also acted in films such as Predator (1987), Last Action Hero (1993), and The Nice Guys (2016). He has won numerous awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Last Boy Scout.
