    Bio:

    Robert Rossen (1908-1966) was an American screenwriter, director, and producer. He is best known for his Academy Award-winning film All the King’s Men (1949). He also directed and produced The Hustler (1961) and Lilith (1964). Rossen was a member of the Communist Party in the 1930s and 1940s, and was blacklisted in the 1950s. He was posthumously awarded the Writers Guild of America’s Laurel Award for Screenwriting Achievement in 1967.
