Nion McEvoy is an American publisher, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the Chairman and CEO of Chronicle Books, a San Francisco-based independent publisher of books, gifts, and stationery. He is also the Chairman of the Board of the McEvoy Group, a family-owned investment company that owns and operates Chronicle Books, as well as a number of other businesses. McEvoy is a major supporter of the arts, and has served on the boards of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Institution, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. He is also a trustee of the California Academy of Sciences and the San Francisco Ballet.
