Michael Grais is an American film producer and screenwriter. He is best known for producing the horror films Poltergeist and Poltergeist II: The Other Side. He has also written and produced films such as The Sentinel, The Stepfather, and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards and has won a Saturn Award for Best Writing. He is currently the president of his own production company, Grais & Ellin Productions.
