She is best known for her work on the Academy Award-winning film Brokeback Mountain, which she co-wrote with Larry McMurtry. She has also produced films such as The Homesman, Appaloosa, and Streets of Laredo. Ossana has won numerous awards for her work, including an Academy Award, a Writers Guild of America Award, and a Golden Globe Award. She is currently working on a new television series for HBO.
