He is best known for producing the 1985 film, “Silverado,” and for writing the biography of George Lucas, “Skywalking: The Life and Films of George Lucas.” Pollock has also produced films such as “The Big Chill,” “The Accidental Tourist,” and “The Prince of Tides.” He is currently a professor at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
