Christopher Mankiewicz is an American film and television producer, director, and writer. He is the son of the late director/writer/producer Joseph L. Mankiewicz and the grandson of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz. He has produced and directed a number of films and television series, including the Emmy-nominated miniseries The Kennedys, the Emmy-winning miniseries The Andromeda Strain, and the feature films The Big Picture and The Man Who Knew Too Little. He is currently producing the upcoming Netflix series The Queen’s Gambit.
