Brent Maddock is an American screenwriter, producer, and director. He is best known for his work on the films Short Circuit, Tremors, and Wild Wild West. He has also written and produced for television shows such as The A-Team, MacGyver, and Walker, Texas Ranger. Maddock has been nominated for two Emmy Awards and won a Saturn Award for Best Writing for his work on Short Circuit. He is currently working on a new project, a feature film adaptation of the classic novel The War of the Worlds.
