He is best known for producing the films “The Boat That Rocked” (2009), “St. Trinian’s” (2007) and “The Importance of Being Earnest” (2002). He has also directed films such as “The Young Poisoner’s Handbook” (1995) and “The Final Curtain” (2007). Thompson has been nominated for several awards, including a BAFTA for Best British Film for “The Boat That Rocked”. He is also the founder of Fragile Films, a production company based in London.
