    Bio:

    Alexander Korda (1893-1956) was a Hungarian-born British film producer and director. He was one of the most successful British filmmakers of the early 20th century, producing over 50 films between 1925 and 1956. He was the first filmmaker to be knighted, and his films often featured themes of British patriotism and historical drama. He is best known for his films The Private Life of Henry VIII (1933), The Thief of Bagdad (1940), and The Third Man (1949).
