    Bio:

    William Wyler was a renowned American film director, born on July 1, 1902, in Mulhouse, Alsace, Germany. He directed over 70 films during his career, including classics such as “Ben-Hur,” “Roman Holiday,” and “The Best Years of Our Lives.” Wyler was known for his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to bring out powerful performances from his actors. He won three Academy Awards for Best Director and was nominated for a total of 12 Oscars throughout his career. Wyler passed away on July 27, 1981, in Beverly Hills, California, at the age of 79.
