Willard Huyck is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on films such as American Graffiti, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Howard the Duck. Huyck began his career as a screenwriter, working on projects such as THX 1138 and American Graffiti with his writing partner, Gloria Katz. He later transitioned to directing, helming films such as Best Defense and French Postcards. Huyck has largely retired from filmmaking in recent years and is considered to be a relatively unknown figure in the industry.
