    Well, let’s just say von Sternberg’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors with better ROI. And with a status of F-List, it’s safe to say he won’t be making a comeback anytime soon. Sorry, von Sternberg.
     

    Bio:

    Josef von Sternberg was an Austrian-American film director, known for his work in Hollywood during the 1920s and 1930s. He is best known for his collaborations with actress Marlene Dietrich, including the films “The Blue Angel” and “Morocco.” Von Sternberg was known for his visually stunning films and his meticulous attention to detail. He retired from filmmaking in the 1950s and passed away in 1969.
