Tomas Alfredson is a Swedish film director, best known for his work on the critically acclaimed films “Let the Right One In” and “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”. He was born on April 1, 1965, in Lidingö, Sweden. Alfredson began his career in television, directing several episodes of the Swedish crime drama “Beck”. He made his feature film debut in 2008 with “Let the Right One In”, which won numerous awards and was praised for its unique take on the vampire genre. Alfredson’s next film, “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, was also a critical success, earning three Academy Award nominations. He has since directed the film “The Snowman” and the TV series “Dracula”.
