    Bio:

    Terry Zwigoff is an American filmmaker known for his dark comedies and documentaries. He was born on May 18, 1949, in Appleton, Wisconsin. Zwigoff began his career as a cartoonist and later transitioned to filmmaking. He is best known for directing the films “Ghost World” (2001) and “Bad Santa” (2003). Zwigoff has also directed several documentaries, including “Crumb” (1994) and “Louie Bluie” (1985). He has been nominated for several awards throughout his career, including an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for “Crumb.”
