Stacy Peralta is an American filmmaker, skateboarder, and surfer. He was born on October 15, 1957, in Venice, California. Peralta is best known for his documentaries about skateboarding, including “Dogtown and Z-Boys” and “Bones Brigade: An Autobiography.” He was also a professional skateboarder in the 1970s and 1980s and was a member of the Zephyr Skate Team. Peralta has won numerous awards for his work in film and is considered one of the most influential figures in the history of skateboarding.
