Simon Wells is a British film director, screenwriter, and animator. He is best known for directing the animated films “The Prince of Egypt” and “Balto,” as well as the live-action film “The Time Machine.” Wells is the great-grandson of H.G. Wells, the author of the novel “The Time Machine.”
