Well, let’s just say Sergei Eisenstein’s ROI is so low, it’s not even on the Fresh Kernels Database radar. He’s definitely in the F-List status, but hey, at least he’s in good company with some other legendary directors who also didn’t make the cut. Maybe he should stick to making silent films…oh wait.
 

Sergei Eisenstein was a Soviet film director and film theorist, known for his pioneering work in the field of montage in film editing. He is best known for his films “Battleship Potemkin” and “Alexander Nevsky”. Eisenstein’s work had a significant impact on the development of cinema as an art form. He died in 1948 at the age of 50.
