    Bio:

    Samuel Maoz is an Israeli film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on February 25, 1962, in Tel Aviv, Israel. Maoz served in the Israeli army during the 1982 Lebanon War, an experience that heavily influenced his filmmaking. He studied at the Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts and later worked as a cameraman for Israeli television. Maoz’s debut feature film, “Lebanon,” won the Golden Lion award at the 2009 Venice Film Festival. He has since directed the films “Foxtrot” and “The Human Factor.” Maoz is known for his powerful and thought-provoking films that explore the complexities of Israeli society and the human condition.
