Well, Richard Lester may be on the F-List, but at least he’s in the top 35% of directors in terms of ROI. That’s something, right?

    Bio:

Richard Lester is a British film director known for his work in the 1960s, particularly with the Beatles in the films A Hard Day’s Night and Help!. He also directed the cult classic film, The Knack…and How to Get It. Lester’s style is characterized by his use of quick cuts, hand-held cameras, and a sense of irreverence. He continued to direct films throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including the Superman films starring Christopher Reeve. He was awarded a CBE in 1995 for his contributions to British cinema. Lester passed away in August 2021 at the age of 89.
