Pierre Coffin is a French animator, voice actor, and film director. He is best known for co-directing the Despicable Me franchise and voicing the Minions. Coffin has also directed other animated films such as Puss in Boots and Minions. He began his career as an animator for the French animation studio Amblimation before moving to the United States to work for Illumination Entertainment.
