    Well, let’s just say Philippe Claudel’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors and he was the only needle missing. And with a status of F-List, it looks like he might need a bigger haystack.

    Philippe Claudel is a French author, screenwriter, and film director. He was born on February 2, 1962, in Dombasle-sur-Meurthe, France. Claudel has written several novels, including “Grey Souls,” which won the Prix Renaudot in 2003. He has also written screenplays for films such as “I’ve Loved You So Long” and “The Girl on the Train.” As a director, he has made films such as “I’ve Loved You So Long” and “Before the Winter Chill.” Claudel has received numerous awards for his work, including the César Award for Best First Feature Film for “I’ve Loved You So Long” in 2009.
