Along with his brother Vittorio Taviani, he has directed several award-winning films, including “Padre Padrone,” “Night of the Shooting Stars,” and “Caesar Must Die.” The Taviani brothers are known for their neorealist style and their exploration of themes such as family, politics, and history. Paolo Taviani has won numerous awards for his work, including the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
