    Norman Tokar was an American film and television director, producer, and writer. He was born on November 25, 1919, in Newark, New Jersey, and passed away on April 6, 1979, in Santa Monica, California. Tokar directed several popular Disney films, including “The Apple Dumpling Gang” and “The Cat from Outer Space.” He also directed episodes of popular TV shows such as “Leave It to Beaver” and “Gilligan’s Island.”
