    Well, Michael Moore may not be in the top 10%, but at least he’s still on the A-List of directors. And let’s be real, his documentaries are worth more than their weight in gold…or Twinkies. (110th out of nearly 2,000 directors is roughly in the top 6%.)

    Michael Moore is an American documentary filmmaker, author, and activist. He was born on April 23, 1954, in Flint, Michigan. Moore is best known for his documentaries that tackle social and political issues, such as “Bowling for Columbine,” “Fahrenheit 9/11,” and “Sicko.” He has won numerous awards for his work, including an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature for “Bowling for Columbine.” Moore is also a bestselling author and has written several books, including “Stupid White Men” and “Dude, Where’s My Country?” He continues to be an outspoken critic of the American political system and is a frequent commentator on current events.
