    Well, Michael Curtiz may be on the F-List, but at least he’s in the top 15% of directors in terms of ROI. I guess he’s not quite a Spielberg, but he’s definitely not a Uwe Boll either.

    Michael Curtiz was a Hungarian-American film director, born on December 24, 1886, in Budapest, Hungary. He directed over 170 films in various genres, including dramas, musicals, westerns, and war films. Curtiz is best known for directing the classic films Casablanca (1942) and Mildred Pierce (1945), both of which won Academy Awards for Best Picture. He also directed other notable films such as The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938), Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), and White Christmas (1954). Curtiz passed away on April 10, 1962, in Hollywood, California, at the age of 75.
