    Well, let’s just say Marzieh Makhmalbaf’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors and she was the missing needle with a 0% ROI. Ouch. And with an F-List status, it looks like she’s not exactly the cream of the crop.

    Marzieh Makhmalbaf is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, and producer. She was born on September 22, 1980, in Tehran, Iran. She is the daughter of renowned Iranian filmmaker Mohsen Makhmalbaf and has directed several critically acclaimed films, including “The Apple” (1998), “Blackboards” (2000), and “Two-Legged Horse” (2008). Makhmalbaf is known for her socially conscious films that explore themes of poverty, oppression, and the struggle for human rights. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the UNESCO Fellini Medal and the Best Director award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
