    Bio:

    Mark Sandrich was an American film director and producer, best known for his work on several classic musicals during the 1930s and 1940s. He directed several films starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, including “Top Hat” and “Follow the Fleet.” Sandrich also directed the holiday classic “Holiday Inn” starring Bing Crosby and “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer” with Tommy Kelly. He passed away in 1945 at the age of 44.
