Marc Forster is a Swiss-German film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born on November 30, 1969, in Ulm, Germany. Forster started his career in the film industry as an assistant director in Switzerland before moving to the United States to pursue his passion for filmmaking. He gained critical acclaim for his work on the films “Monster’s Ball” (2001), “Finding Neverland” (2004), and “The Kite Runner” (2007). Forster has also directed blockbuster films such as “Quantum of Solace” (2008) and “World War Z” (2013). He has been nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Picture for “Monster’s Ball.”
