McCarey directed over 90 films during his career, including classics such as Duck Soup, The Awful Truth, and An Affair to Remember. He won three Academy Awards for Best Director, and his films were known for their humor, warmth, and emotional depth. McCarey was a major figure in Hollywood during the Golden Age of cinema and is considered one of the greatest directors of all time.
