Keiichi Hara is a Japanese movie director known for his work in anime. He was born on July 21, 1959, in Tatebayashi, Gunma, Japan. Hara started his career as an animator and worked on several popular anime series such as Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan. He made his directorial debut in 1993 with the anime film, “Twilight Q.” Hara is best known for his critically acclaimed films, “Miss Hokusai” and “Colorful.” He has won several awards for his work, including the Best Animated Feature Film Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
