Well, let’s just say Joseph Cedar’s ROI ranking is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if that haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors. And with a status of F-List, it’s safe to say he won’t be getting any calls from Hollywood anytime soon. Sorry, Joseph.
Joseph Cedar is an Israeli film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on August 31, 1968, in New York City, but grew up in Jerusalem. Cedar is best known for his films “Beaufort” (2007) and “Footnote” (2011), both of which were nominated for Academy Awards for Best Foreign Language Film. He has also directed several other critically acclaimed films, including “Campfire” (2004) and “Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer” (2016). Cedar has won numerous awards for his work, including the Best Director award at the 2007 Berlin International Film Festival for “Beaufort.”
