    John McNaughton is an American film director, known for his work in the horror and crime genres. He was born on January 13, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. McNaughton began his career as a filmmaker in the 1980s, directing several low-budget horror films. His breakthrough came in 1986 with the release of his film “Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer,” which received critical acclaim and has since become a cult classic. McNaughton has also directed episodes of popular television shows such as “Homicide: Life on the Street” and “Masters of Horror.” He continues to work in the film industry today.
