Jim Sharman is an Australian director, writer, and producer known for his work in theater and film. He is best known for directing the cult classic musical film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” (1975). Sharman has also directed several other films, including “Shirley Thompson Versus the Aliens” (1972) and “Shock Treatment” (1981). He has also worked extensively in theater, directing productions of “The Rocky Horror Show” and “Hair” among others. Sharman’s contributions to the arts have earned him numerous awards and accolades throughout his career.
