Well, let’s just say James Lebrecht’s ROI is so low, it’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack…if the haystack was made up of 1,999 other directors with better ROI percentages. And with a status of F-List, it looks like he’s not even trying to find that needle. Sorry, James.
James Lebrecht is an American film director, producer, and sound designer. He is best known for his work on the documentary film “Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020 and was later released on Netflix. The film, which Lebrecht co-directed with Nicole Newnham, tells the story of a summer camp for disabled teenagers in the 1970s and the impact it had on the disability rights movement. Prior to “Crip Camp,” Lebrecht worked on a number of other documentary films and television shows, including “The Blood of Yingzhou District” and “The Waiting Room.”
