    Well, let’s just say Hsiao-Hsien Hou’s ROI ranking is so low, it’s like trying to find Waldo in a sea of directors. And with a status of F-List, it’s safe to say he’s not exactly the life of the party in Hollywood. Maybe he should stick to directing indie films for the art, not the profit.

    Hsiao-Hsien Hou is a Taiwanese film director known for his poetic and visually stunning films. He has won numerous awards at international film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Venice Film Festival. Some of his notable works include “A City of Sadness,” “The Puppetmaster,” and “Three Times.” Hou is considered one of the most important figures in the Taiwanese New Wave cinema movement.
