Haifaa Al-Mansour is a Saudi Arabian film director, best known for her critically acclaimed film “Wadjda” (2012), which was the first feature-length film shot entirely in Saudi Arabia and the first directed by a woman in the country. She has also directed several other films, including “The Perfect Candidate” (2019) and “Mary Shelley” (2017). Al-Mansour is known for her focus on social issues and her efforts to promote gender equality in Saudi Arabia.
