    Bio:

    George Cukor was an American film director known for his work in Hollywood during the Golden Age of cinema. He directed over 50 films throughout his career, including classics such as “The Philadelphia Story,” “My Fair Lady,” and “Gone with the Wind.” Cukor was known for his ability to work with actors and his attention to detail in creating memorable characters and scenes. He won an Academy Award for Best Director for “My Fair Lady” in 1964. Cukor passed away in 1983 at the age of 83.
