    Well, let’s just say Elia Kazan’s ROI is so low, it’s like he’s directing movies for the price of a bag of stale popcorn. And with a D-List status, it looks like he’s not even getting the good butter on that popcorn. Sorry, Kazan.

    Elia Kazan was a Greek-American film and theatre director, producer, and writer. He was born on September 7, 1909, in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire (now Istanbul, Turkey) and died on September 28, 2003, in New York City, USA. Kazan is known for his work on classic films such as “On the Waterfront,” “A Streetcar Named Desire,” and “East of Eden.” He was also a prominent figure in the American theater, directing productions of plays by Tennessee Williams and Arthur Miller. Kazan was awarded an Honorary Academy Award in 1999 for his contributions to the film industry.
