    Bio:

    Edmund Goulding was a British film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born on March 20, 1891, in Feltham, Middlesex, England, and died on December 24, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, USA. Goulding directed over 80 films during his career, including the critically acclaimed Grand Hotel (1932) and The Razor’s Edge (1946). He was known for his ability to create complex characters and emotional depth in his films. Goulding was nominated for three Academy Awards and won a Golden Globe for Best Director in 1947.
